What is Military Connections?

Military Connections is an online community where you can reconnect and stay connected with friends from high school, college or military service days. In addition, we aim to provide veterans and active duty military personnel with current military news, mortgage and insurance resources, discounts and special offers. The site was founded in 1998 and was relaunched after being acquired by Intergenuity in early 2002.

How do I become a member of Military Connections?

Military Connections is free to join and free to use. You simply need to click one of the "Sign Up" links to register. Some of the fields you are asked to fill out are required in order to complete your registration. Once you join, you'll be able to search our membership roster for your military buddies and take part in offers designed specifically for our members.

How much does it cost to join Military Connections?

Military Connections is free to join and free to use. Previously, a Member Plus program was offered as a paid subscription. That program has been discontinued, making all resources at Military Connections free of charge.

I didn't get my welcome email. What happened?

Please check your bulk folders. Frequently, you will find the email message from support@militaryconnections.com in the bulk/spam folder.

What rules should I be aware of before I join?

We strongly recommend that you read the Terms and Conditions before using our site. These rules and guidelines outline your rights and responsibilities, and gives you valuable information about the security of information you provide to us.

Why do I have to enter my email address?

Military Connections uses your email address internally to identify you on our system. An individual's name is not always unique, but their name tied to an email address is. Although we require that you use your email address to log in to our system, we respect the privacy of our members. We do not share your email address with other Military Connections members, but we will forward their messages to you. Please read Military Connections' Privacy Policy for more information.

How do I change my email address, password or other information about myself?

You simply need to log on to the site using the current email address and password we have on record. You can then edit your personal profile to submit any changes you wish to make.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Look for the "Forgot my password" link in the Login box on the left-hand side of the page. Enter your email address, first and last name, and click the "Send my password" button. If we find an exact match, we will send your password to that email account. If no match exists, we'll ask you to try again.

What happened to the Unit Lists and the individual sites for Ships, Shore Stations, etc.?

As of May 1, 2002, the Military Connections Web site has a new owner, content, and format. Some of the features many of you have been using are no longer being offered. The site's previous owner, Planet Alumni, was in the process of shutting down the site. In taking over, we wanted to keep the site alive but did not feel we could adequately support many of the features they had been providing. While the experience on the Military Connections site is different than what you may have experienced before, we hope you find it useful. How do I find old buddies?

A site-wide search for a person's name can be performed by clicking any of the "Find a Buddy" links found throughout the site. If more than one match exists, we'll provide ways to help narrow your search.

How do I remove a duplicate account?
