The B-2 Spirit is a multi-role bomber capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions.
A dramatic leap forward in technology, the bomber represents a major milestone in the U.S.
bomber modernization program. The B-2 brings massive firepower to bear, in a short time,
anywhere on the globe through previously impenetrable defenses.

The B-1 is the backbone of America's long-range bomber force providing massive and rapid delivery
of precision and non-precision weapons against any potential adversary anywhere around the globe on
short notice.

The F-117A Nighthawk is the world's first operational aircraft designed to exploit low-observable
stealth technology. This precision-strike aircraft penetrates high-threat airspace and uses
laser-guided weapons against critical targets.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable
and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively
low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations.

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, variable sweep wing, two-place strike
fighter. The Tomcat's primary missions are air superiority, fleet air defense and precision
strike against ground targets.

The Harrier today is one of the truly unique and most widely known of military aircraft.
It is unique as the only fixed wing V/STOL aircraft in the free world. It also is unusual
in the international nature of its development, which brought the design from the
first British P.1127 prototype to the AV-8B Harrier II of today.

The F-15E Strike Eagle is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground
missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems gives the F-15E the capability to fight
at low altitude, day or night, and in inclement weather and perform its primary function as
an air-to-ground attack aircraft.

The F-15 Eagle is an all-weather, extremely maneuverable, tactical fighter designed to permit
the Air Force to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat.

The Hornet is a strike-fighter aircraft flown by the Navy and Marine Corps in significantly
larger numbers than any other naval aircraft. Hornets taking direct hits from surface-to-air
missiles, recovering successfully, being repaired quickly, and flying again the next day proved
the aircraft's survivability. |

In its fighter mode, the Super Hornet is used primarily as a fighter escort and for fleet air defense;
in its attack mode, it is used for force projection, interdiction and close and deep air support.
The Super Hornet provides aircrew the capability and performance necessary to face 21st century
threats.
